Privacy

Your songs are analyzed on your device.

GigaChords V1 keeps file and microphone analysis local. Accounts, subscription verification, launch notices, and feedback you choose to submit use the network without uploading the audio file.

Local analysis

Selected files and microphone recordings are decoded and analyzed on the Windows or Android device.

Core practice works offline

Analyze, play, edit, loop, transpose, and reopen saved chord maps without sending the song to a cloud analyzer.

No public song hosting

GigaChords works with audio you provide and are allowed to use; it is not a tab catalog or song-hosting service.

What uses the network

Online services are separate from audio analysis.

Email-code sign-in, entitlement refresh, Google Play purchase verification, launch notices, and optional chord feedback use online services. Chord feedback can include song-identifying metadata and your edits, but not the audio file itself.

Plain-language policy

The full collection, retention, deletion, and service-provider details are in the public privacy policy.
